Responsibilities:
1.
Design and develop mechanical systems and products using CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
2.
Perform detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
3.
Inspect and analyze the performance of mechanical components, equipment, and systems.
4.
Manage and oversee project production efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
5.
Create and present technical reports to articulate design and project details effectively.
6.
Conduct research to inform the design and production of mechanical systems and products.
7.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into practical, cost-effective, and functional designs.
8.
Participate in system level integration, ensuring that system performance meets the design intent.
9.
Conduct structural analysis of designs and make necessary modifications to optimize performance.
10.
Ensure all products and systems comply with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
What you need for this position:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
2.
Minimum of three years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
3.
Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
4.
Experience in Systems Engineering Application, Integration, and Structural Analysis.
5.
Excellent technical report writing skills.
6.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, mechanics, materials science, and structural analysis.
7.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
8.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
9.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
10.
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
11.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
